Through my own campaigning efforts on behalf of Adopt a Village in Laos in 2011, I not only helped raise awareness for this Canadian humanitarian organization, but I was instrumental, in my own small way, in securing donations for dozens of water purification filters. It's absolutely amazing how powerful the simple of acting giving can truly be. Each one of these water filters provides clean drinkable water for a family of up to 8 people for years to come.
